This made me realize that I should maybe share the free tools with you, my loyal reader, so here is the start of my list of 20 or 30 or more of the best free tools I use in my Internet marketing efforts.

None of these are affiliate links, and no sign-ups are required, so check them all out, what have you got to lose?

1          SEO Videos

If you are anything like me, I find it easier to watch a video presentation of anything I am interested in. Video SEObook gives free video presentations about SEO, keyword research, link building, Google AdWords and many more essential tools to help internet marketing efforts.

2          WordPress.tv

WordPress.tv is a free video training site for everything about WordPress.

3          Twitter Handbook

The Twitter Handbook will show you what twitter is all about, all about messages, how to monetize your site, FAQ’s and lots more.

4          Good Keywords

Research your keywords before writing blogs, web pages and articles to gain maximum effects

5             Browsershots

This is a free open-source, online service which makes screenshots of your web design in different browsers. The index page presents you with a large list of different browsers, all with a check box. For a quick result, I suggest if you are using windows only, you uncheck all under Linux, Mac OS and BSD and under Windows, check only Chrome 3.0, Firefox 3.5, Opera 9.64, Safari 4.0 and SeaMonkey 2.0

So, that’s my first 5 free internet tools for you to check out. I think that may be enough to get you started, and next time I will try and give you a few more than this to crank up your Internet marketing efforts.

The whole purpose will be to increase sales of the item which is being promoted, and the article can be made more effective by writing a short bio at the end of the article and some contact references.

Before the internet, this form of marketing was used widely in printed form mainly in newspapers, but the Internet has made this affordable to everyone.

You may question why any site owner will set up an article directory site and accept all articles for free, but these sites can become very popular, and the more traffic that the site generates, so too is the potential to gain revenue from the site from paid adverts from the likes of Google, so it’s a win-win situation for both the site owner and the writer of the article.

Online articles are so popular now against printed articles because of the speed in which any subject can be searched for on line with the use of keywords.

This is just one way to promote your business, and the best part is that it’s free, so everyone who has something to promote should be including article marketing in their promotion campaign.

Those keywords should be carefully chosen, as that is how everyone will find your site and your article, by typing in the keyword which they are searching for, and if your article is about that keyword and you have optimised your article with that same keyword, your article should be easier to find.

There I was, ready to wind down early for the weekend, and into my inbox came an invitation I couldn’t ignore. There are some very good keyword research tools available, but Google kindly offers a free tool, which they have just recently upgraded to show a monthly estimate of searches made for each keyword.

This is invaluable, especially to Newbies, making it so easy to find and identify all of the keywords which need to be included in your page script, titles and descriptions. I found it very user friendly.
